By accessing and using WingetUI (the "Software"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Software.

2. Description of Service

WingetUI is a free, open-source graphical user interface for Windows package managers, including but not limited to WinGet, Scoop, Chocolatey, Pip, Npm, .NET Tool, and PowerShell Gallery. The Software provides users with the ability to install, update, and manage software packages from these various package managers through a unified interface.

3. License and Usage

WingetUI is distributed as free and open-source software. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software for personal or commercial purposes, subject to the terms of the open-source license under which it is distributed.

• You may install and use WingetUI on any number of devices
• You may modify the Software for your personal use
• You may distribute the Software in accordance with its open-source license
• You may not use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

4. Third-Party Package Managers and Software

WingetUI acts as an interface to third-party package managers and does not host or distribute software packages directly. All software packages available through WingetUI are provided by third-party sources including Microsoft (WinGet), Scoop, Chocolatey, Python Package Index (Pip), Node Package Manager (Npm), and others.

• We are not responsible for the content, functionality, or security of third-party packages
• Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to install and use any software they download
• Users should only download software from trusted publishers and sources
• We recommend reviewing the terms and licenses of individual packages before installation

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

7. User Responsibilities
